Membership Information

Membership Classifications & Requirements

Charter Member Eligibility:

  • Person or Entity that is a current peanut grower, OR
  • Previous peanut grower within the last five years, OR
  • Current base holder of peanuts

From any county in Florida EAST of the western boundary of Jefferson County including, but not limited to counties:
Jefferson, Hamilton, Levy, Gilchrist, Suwannee, Madison, Columbia, Marion, Lafayette, Dixie, and Alachua counties.

Associate Member Eligibility:

  • Any Person or Entity that is a current grower OR
  • Any Person or Entity previous grower within the last five years OR
  • Current base holder of peanuts

From other counties in Florida west of the western boundary of Jefferson County shall be considered Associate Members of the Federation.

Allied Member Eligibility:

  • Any educational institution, corporation, partnership, LLC, sole proprietorship or other entity whose business interests are common with and/or allied to the peanut industry and the mission and purpose of the Federation shall be considered Allied Members of the Federation.

Golden Seed Member Eligibility:

  • Any Person or Entity that has previously farmed, OR
  • Any Person or Entity who would like to be kept informed of the activities of the Federation.

Membership Terms & Conditions

This General Terms and Conditions of membership is a legal Agreement between you/your organization/corporation/LLC/any entity (“You/Your”), and the Florida Peanut Federation, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) corporation (FPF) which sets forth the terms and conditions of membership. You understand that the rights of membership, including the right to identify membership, begin only when You have been notified that your application for membership has been accepted.

Dues and Other Fees: You shall pay annual dues, fees and other assessments applicable to your class of membership, as established from time to time by the Board of Directors of the FPF. FPF may establish reasonable additional fees or charges for participation in meetings or for other benefits of membership. Members shall bear own costs and expenses for participation in FPF, such as travel, employee compensation, and incidental expenses.
